Frequently asked questions What are the start and finishing times of exams? Morning exams are scheduled to start at 9.00am and afternoon exams at 1.00pm. What happens if my child is poorly on the day of the exam - can it be rescheduled to another day? Unfortunately external exams cannot be rescheduled due to illness. Please contact the school immediately to explain why they are unable to attend. Any student not attending an exam without a reason will receive no marks for that paper. My child is very anxious - is there anyone they can talk to or receive support from? Most students are nervous when sitting exams, this is normal. However there are many staff on site who are happy to spend some time trying to alleviate their fears. Please contact the school to find out more. Should my child bring in any equipment? We provide all the equipment they need for each exam. What happens after my child's last scheduled exam - do they still need to attend school? Once your child has completed all of their exams, they will not be expected to attend school. The official last day for all Year 11 students will be in June 2025.
