Science
Our Primary Science curriculum focusses on inspiring our students to question and investigate the world around them. Building on previous knowledge, we will educate our students on a wide range of content, ensuring that they are able to design and carry out experiments on a regular basis.
We will begin the school year by digging deep into our origins and how the Earth has changed since the time of dinosaurs. We will discover what our bodies are made up of, how these building blocks work together, how we change as we age and how we can properly maintain our health.
We will discover the structure of our solar system and how the seasons are caused. We will investigate the movement of light and how colours are produced, as well as using a range of scientific equipment to conduct experiments into materials and their properties.
Students will gain the skills needed to work accurately and independently as scientists.
