3D Design
Primary 3D design provides students with the opportunities to experience a variety of 3D materials, to learn through exploration and develop psychomotor skills whilst expressing their individual interests, thoughts and ideas. Students will produce creative work, exploring material possibilities and recording their experiences. They will become experienced in handling a range of different materials, whilst developing their fine motor skills. They will learn and use visual language to analyse and evaluate their own outcomes and the work of other designers.
In primary 3D design curriculum students are given the time and space to explore new themes, new sensations, and ways to be creative without the need to be perfect; encouraging students to be resilient. We want our students to see the enjoyment and fulfilment in the processes of creatively making 3D artefacts.
